Erasmus+ is a program of the European Commission for Education, Training, Youth and Sport.
The program supports three main activities:
The CEE Can Rigol participated in the experience in another European program, the Comenius that took place between 2012 and 2014 with a great educational success. With this good previous experience and driven by the desire to continue innovating our educational practice and to bring Europe closer to our students, the Center worked to merge with other schools and get a grant from the EU to carry out a new project, this time Erasmus +, the Xpress Artemotion in Europe.
The school Can Rigol is the only public school of special education throughout the Catalonia that has been financed to develop the Erasmus +, thanks to the participation in the 2014 call.
Artemotion Xpress in Europe is a project included in the Key Action 2 (KA2) destined to cooperate for innovation and to make an exchange of good practices, strategic partnerships between educational or youth organizations and other relevant actors. The program enhances the mobility and cooperation opportunities aimed at teachers and educators.
Our program began in September 2015 and ended in August 2018. It is based on improving communication and expression of emotions through art, and relies on the use of the Learning and Knowledge Technologies transversely to achieve these improvements.

The selection of the project as a success story has been carried out on the basis of rigorous criteria regarding its quality, relevance and results. As a result of this selection, visibility will be given and recognition of our project, for example on our websites, social media and when preparing documentation for conferences or other events.”
