Our History

The school was officially created when the BOE of 1970 was published.
In 2nd February of 1971 the school started working with six teachers and an educator and “three units of girls and three of boys”.
In 1979, those differentiated units are transformed to six mixed units.

From this year onward, the number of units and workers increase, incorporating specialists in: psychomotricity, speech therapy, physiotherapy, social worker…

Until 1989, the school was located in a community, the square Ramon Roigé of our town.

Change of building

In the course 89-90 we moved from the old building to its present location, the street Ribes de Freser, going from 335 square meters to 4,750 square meters of solar (1,950 square meters built).

On 2nd February 1996 we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the school with various commemorative events.
